Scribd is another tool that recruiters and sourcers should take advantage of. Scribd says “Put your documents online”. They are aiming to “create the world’s largest open library of documents”. So far they claim to have thousands of documents already uploaded to the site.

Using there search features, I did a quick generic search for “resume” and discovered 870 search results. See below:

With that in mind, this opens the possibility to search by key words, locations and more. Another tip would be to search technical documents or “subject matter” documents on any given topic, then Google the authors name and search for them directly.
